Valley of the Shadow by Elle Emriche is one of the best erotic romances I have read. It has an awesome storyline. A young lady who does not fit in her own time travels back to the time period that was her destiny. Elle Emriche’s erotic scenes are passionate, sexy and tastefully done. This is a highly erotic tale, with many of the sexual acts instigated or involving Eunice, a young maid with designs on Wes. Wes has built a hard shell to protect himself from painful memories and insecurities caused by his older brother’s lies. When he finds Liz, he begins to want to live again, but his self-doubting and possessive nature may cause him to lose the only woman that he has ever needed. If you are looking for an historical themed erotic book, this is an excellent choice. Wes and Liz are two people you will root for when all hope seems lost. The passion in this book is real and fiery hot. The love scenes explode right off the pages to burn the tips of your fingers. You will find yourself drawn into another world, another time where there are just and noble causes for people to believe in, fight and even die for. Revenge at Mirror Lake is a swift moving tale of lust and revenge. The anger and betrayal Steve feels fairly resonates off the pages of this story, and the reader feels all the hurt and torment Steve experiences as he sees Peyton again. Peyton is an equally strong character who has suffered just as much as Steve. Having to deal with an unloving family her entire life, falling in love became a balm to her wounded soul. Learning that that love was nothing but a lie almost destroyed her, but Ms. Emriche constructs her characters in a way that shows how they grew from these hurts, rather than letting life beat them down. This is a very intense story with a strong romance that enhances the mystery surrounding Steve’s torture. While this story may not be for the faint of heart, those who enjoy their romances with more lighthearted, comedic plots, readers who enjoy characters who are driven and survive in the face of endless adversity will really enjoy REVENGE AT MIRROR LAKE. Ms. Elle Emriche has written a suspense filled romance. It is full of unexpected twists and endearing tender moments. I became wrapped up in the plot from the first chapter. I could not stop reading it, anxious to find out what was going to happen next. I felt for Isabel and her predicament and could understand her conflicted emotions. Joe is basically a good man but goes about getting his girl all wrong. Their sexual encounters will leave you breathless, all with Joe’s underlying tenderness. I think anyone reading this book will thoroughly enjoy it.

The Appropriation of Isabel is a really well written story. You can almost see the beauty and feel the peace of the West Virginia hills. The characters are engaging and entertaining. THE APPROPRIATION OF ISABEL is a well written, well-plotted book that is sure to keep readers turning the pages long past their bedtime. Jane Shoup keeps readers on the edge of their seat wondering what will happen next. The story is enthralling and the sex scenes . . . well, let’s just say that Ms Shoup has not let anyone down. They are HOT, HOT, HOT!

The tension between the main characters is spectacular. Joe is the perfect match for Isabel. He manages to bring out her sweetness and love of life. Isy struggles between what her heart wants and what her mind tells her she should want. This makes for more then a few sparks and the sex scenes absolutely sizzle. Secondary characters are few, but certainly put an interesting twist on the story.

A love story that will leave you wanting more, THE APPROPRIATION OF ISABEL is a fast-paced book that readers will be hard pressed to leave until the last page has been read. Jane Shoup brings the old “heroine falling for her kidnapper” a delightful breath of air and makes this tired plot line fresh and new again.

The Appropriation Of Isabel by Elle Emriche will have people talking. What would you do if a man kidnapped you and then went about trying to make every one of your dreams come true? Are you angry and scared because he takes your choices away? Or do you stop and realize you are happy with what he is doing? If he can drug you and kidnap you what else is he willing to do to get what he wants? Does he desire you so much that he is afraid this is the only way you can get to know him? I went back and forth the whole time I read this book trying to decide the answers to these questions. I feel that a lot of women have the desire for a man to take control and a kidnapping fantasy. I feel any book that has me asking all these questions and considering answers will definitely be a hit with the readers. The story is full of passion and chemistry. The sexual tension between Isabel and Joe is there from their first meeting. Their encounters are steamy and creative and described in explicit detail. Although kidnapping is not a new concept in romance especially if you consider the historical or futuristic romances it is the concept that this is something that could actually happen this present day that I found so interesting. Elle Emiche has created a passionate adventure that will leave the reader thinking. What would I do?

. . .it hits you right between the eyes. The story opens with a cop finding Isabel's abandoned car – the rest of the book describes the events leading to her disappearance. This is a great technique as the reader is constantly wondering what happens next, and Ms Emriche moves the pace slowly, lulling the reader into a false sense of security.
The tension really builds when you learn that people are not always how they seem, and I had a genuine creepy feeling at the back of my neck for parts of this book. It was disturbing and compelling reading. If you like E M Hull's classic 'The Sheik' then you'll like this, too – same concept, different setting, modern spin. Gripping stuff."

I loved Elle Emriche’s Whispered Intent. There is more than one very unique twist, and there are plot elements that I’ve never seen in any other book. The main characters have a refreshing lack of confidence that’s actually quite endearing. Being unsure of themselves was an interesting contrast to the dark side of their desires. The mysterious stranger is exquisitely written, and such a sympathetic character that you’ll find yourself cheering for him. The element of danger and sex with a complete stranger is hot and Elle Emriche writes it perfectly, taking readers just to the edge without being creepy. I love how the characters “click”; their chemistry is captivating. The hero is absolutely delicious: loving, tender, bold, loyal and passionate. I ... left feeling very satisfied.
